Kongsberg Agenda 2025
Last month we had the privilege of attending Kongsberg Agenda 2025, thanks to a great opportunity offered by our main partner Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace. The event gave us a platform to present our work and connect with like-minded innovators and engineers, and talk with a broad and curious audience.
Representing Ascend
Joining the event on behalf of Ascend NTNU were Christoffer, next teams leader, and Tora, next teams head of marketing. They also brought this year’s drones Skipper, Kowalski, Rico and Private. This was their first appearance outside of Trondheim.

Sharing our mission
From Wednesday through Friday, our team was stationed at the Kongsberg booth, where we engaged in countless conversations about our current project, our past missions, and evolving technology in general. Each day, we hosted a presentation titled “10 Years of Ascend”, highlighting our journey, key milestones, teams, drones and talked about this year's project; IARC Mission 10.

We were also honored to have the CEO of Kongsberg Gruppen, Geir Håøy, stop by our stand, showing genuine interest in our work and mission. It was a meaningful moment that strengthen the value of student innovation in Norway's technological landscape.

Meeting other student organisations
Another great moment was to connect with other fellow technical student organisations which also are partnering with Kongsberg.
Each team delivered engaging presentations, which offered valuable insight into their project, goal and organisation. These exchanges not only inspired us but also strengthened the sense of community among Norway's leading student tech teams.
Thank you, Kongsberg
We are incredibly grateful to Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace for this opportunity, not only to share our story, but to learn, connect and engage with others who share our passion for innovation.
What's up next?
The rest of the summer is used for working and testing the drones before the competition in late August. Once the new academic year begins, our focus will shift toward recruiting the next team, with onboarding and training starting in early September.
